Communicating in virtual worlds demands the environment to be at least as appealing as it would be in reality, if not more so. The architecture and design of virtual scenery, buildings, rooms and objects are professionally realised by our specialists, not forgetting the related media such as the streaming of films and presentations. The activities in this area are very interdisciplinary. For this reason, we work with a team of specialists, who are active in different areas. Following is a list of tasks that we believe need to be completed to set up a presence in second life:

  • Landscaping: design of scenery, parks, plants and open air spaces as well as their realisation.
  • Architecture and interior design: architecture and design of buildings, auditoriums, offices, common rooms etc. At the same time the design and size must be aligned to the culture and aesthetics of your business and appeal optimally to the future application’s target group.
  • Construction: the construction of buildings, offices, reception and common areas, auditoriums, education and training rooms as well as objects to be used as pieces of furniture or commodities. This covers everything from furniture to presentation screens to coffee cups, the pictures on the walls, carpets, elevators and much more.
  • Scripting: many objects have a dynamic function that can be programmed using scripting language: vehicles, coffee machines, elevators and teleporting equipment, presentation tools, doors. Scripting is also of importance in game-like applications, for example in team building events.

Avatar Design

We create lifelike avatars of users with an excellent likeness to the real person. Body and face shape and the appearance of the skin and hair are closely imitated and true to nature. Artefacts such as clothes, handbags, glasses, hair accessories etc. are also included.

Virtual Presentations in Second Life and OpenSim

Using our server, it is possible to upload Powerpoint presentations directly, without having to manually convert them into images, and to present them in Second Life on a virtual screen. We also make a range of tools available, which are of great help in training, workshops and presentations.

Training and Coaching

Virtual worlds offer many ways to communicate but they are also of more complexity than, for example, web applications. It is important therefore that users are efficiently trained in their use. For this reason, we offer training and accompany the user in the form of online and on location support. We also offer coaching for moderators so the benefits of virtual worlds can be best exploited.

Virtual Infrastructure

To be able to work in virtual worlds, it is often unnecessary to create a new infrastructure. We rent auditoriums, seminar rooms and conference rooms. This also allows you to try out the platform as a low-cost pilot project.
